Newly released Marathi movie ‘Bhikari’ grossed Rs 1.73 crore total box office collection in four days. Witnessing moderate occupancy in theatres, the Marathi film collected decent earnings on Indian box office.
Featuring popular Marathi actor Swapnil Joshi in leading role, the thriller film started its box office journey on a decent note. Facing huge box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer latest Bollywood film ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, the Marathi movie received average response from the audiences.
On 1st day of release, ‘Bhikari’ movie made a business of Rs 0.31 crore. The film, which has been directed by renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya, experienced surge in the audiences’ response on 2nd day and minted Rs 0.53 crore income on Saturday.
The film continued to showcase growth in its business in the weekend days. Featuring Rucha Inamdar in the leading role, the family entertainer bagged an amount of Rs 0.64 crore on 3rd day. Thus, the Marathi film collected Rs 1.48 crore overall income in initial three days.
Witnessing a decline in the box office earnings, the latest Marathi movie registered a business of Rs 0.25 crore on 4th day of its release. The film is expected to receive moderate response from the film-watchers in week days.
On other hand, Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ gained tremendous response from the people. The movie grossed Rs 56.07 crore total box office collection in 4 days and became the 2nd highest grosser movie of SRK in year 2017.
