Newly released Punjabi movie ‘Super Singh’ earned Rs 9.43 crore total box office collection in seven days. Starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa in main roles, the film showcased decent performance after the first weekend. On 7th day, the movie witnessed 75% drop in the theatre occupancy and registered a business of Rs 0.90 crore.

The Punjabi film commenced its box office journey on a silent note. Witnessing average occupancy on opening day, the movie earned Rs 1.80 crore collection on first day. On next day, the film reported hike in the public response and minted Rs 2.05 crore income. Anurag Singh’s directorial made a business of Rs 1.90 crore on 3rd day of its release.

After grossing Rs 5.75 crore total income in initial three days, the romantic movie witnessed usual decline in the response from audiences. The film bagged an amount of Rs 0.95 crore on 5th day. On following day, ‘Super Singh’ movie collected Rs 0.90 crore income on Indian box office. Witnessing more drop in the earnings, the film minted Rs 0.73 crore on 7th day.

Though Diljit and Sonam starrer movie showcased excellent performance on Indian box office, the film received poor response from the audiences in foreign countries and earned less than 2 crore in the international market. Adjacently released Hindi movie ‘Bank Chor’ too witnessed less occupancy in Indian cinema halls.
