Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu starrer latest Bollywood movie ‘Tubelight’ earned Rs 118 crore collection on Indian box office in 11 days. The film performed well in initial weekend and earned a whopping first day collection on 23rd June. After first weekend, the movie witnessed gradual decline in the response from audiences.
Witnessing a huge occupancy on the opening day (Friday), the multi-starrer Hindi film minted Rs 21.15 crore box office collection. Receiving steady response from the movie-watchers on next day (Saturday), the film pocketed an income of Rs 21.17 crore. The film witnessed hike in the earnings on following day (Sunday) and made a business of Rs 22.46 crore.
After grossing Rs 64.77 crore amount in first weekend, the movie started witnessing drop in the theatre occupancy. The film collected Rs 19.09 crore income on Monday, which was the 4th day of its release in India. With further steep declination in the income, the movie registered a business of Rs 12 crore on 5th day (Tuesday) and Rs 6.50 crore on 6th day (Wednesday).
In first week, Kabir Khan’s directorial venture surpassed 100-crore mark on Indian box office and became the 7th highest grosser film of year 2017. Produced under the banner of ‘Salman Khan Films’, the Bollywood movie showcased awesome performance in overseas and registered a business of Rs 20 crore in the international market. On 11th day, the movie registered a business of Rs 2.25 crore on Indian box offce.
